Non-Surgical Ultrasound Lifting for the Face, Jawline and Neck
If your face looks less defined, your jawline has started to soften, or your neck looks looser than before, the problem may not only be your skin.
In many patients, the deeper support layers of the face also need attention.
Ultherapy is a non-surgical lifting treatment designed to stimulate collagen in deeper tissue layers, helping the face and neck look firmer, more lifted and more structured over time.
At Efem Clinic, Ultherapy is not approached as a quick beauty treatment. It is planned as part of a natural-result focused medical aesthetic strategy.
Our goal is not to make you look different. Our goal is to help you look:
- Fresher
- More rested
- More defined
- More balanced
- Still completely like yourself

What Is Ultherapy?
Ultherapy is a non-surgical ultrasound lifting treatment. It uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production in deeper layers of the face and neck.
Unlike treatments that mainly work on the surface of the skin, Ultherapy targets deeper support layers responsible for firmness and lift.
This makes it especially useful for patients who are starting to notice:
- Jawline softening
- Mild facial sagging
- Neck laxity
- Lower face looseness
- Loss of facial definition
- Early signs of aging
No surgery, incisions or needles
Ultherapy works by encouraging the body’s natural collagen response over time.

What Problems Can Ultherapy Help With?
Ultherapy is commonly used for:
- Face lifting
- Jawline definition
- Neck tightening
- Lower face support
- Mild to moderate sagging
- Skin firmness
- Brow and upper face support in suitable cases
- Early facial aging
It is especially useful when the main concern is structural support and lifting, rather than only skin texture.
This distinction is important:
- Ultherapy supports deeper lifting.
- It does not remove fat pockets.
- It does not improve acne scars like Morpheus8.
- It does not replace a surgical facelift in advanced sagging.
For the right patient, however, it can create a natural lifting effect without surgery.
Is Ultherapy Right for You?
Send your photos on WhatsApp. We can evaluate whether Ultherapy, Morpheus8, Endolift or a combined plan may be more suitable for your face and neck.
Who Is a Good Candidate for Ultherapy?
You may be a good candidate if you have:
- Mild to moderate sagging
- Softening around the jawline
- Early jowling
- Loose skin on the neck
- Loss of facial definition
- Good general skin condition
- A preference for non-surgical treatment
- Realistic expectations
Ultherapy is often preferred by patients who want visible improvement but do not want surgery, incisions or a dramatic change in facial identity.
Who May Not Be a Good Candidate?
Ultherapy may not be the right first choice if you have advanced sagging that requires surgery, large fat pockets as the main concern, very thin or severely damaged skin, unrealistic expectations, a need for instant dramatic lifting or certain medical conditions that affect treatment suitability.
A proper evaluation helps determine whether Ultherapy alone is enough, or whether it should be combined with Morpheus8, Endolift, Q-Switch laser or other treatments.
Ultherapy Alone Is Sometimes Not Enough
Facial aging does not happen in one layer. There may be loss of deeper support, skin laxity, fat pockets, texture problems, pigmentation, volume changes, jawline blurring and neck looseness.
Ultherapy mainly improves deeper structural support and lifting. But if the patient also has poor skin texture, acne scars, enlarged pores, fat accumulation under the chin or pigmentation problems, a combined treatment plan may work better.
At Efem Clinic, we evaluate the face in layers:
Ultherapy supports deeper lifting and structure.
Endolift helps target selected fat pockets and contouring.
Morpheus8 improves skin firmness, pores, scars and texture.
Q-Switch laser may help with uneven pigmentation when suitable.
This layered approach allows us to create a more complete non-surgical rejuvenation plan instead of forcing one treatment to solve everything.
Our Ultherapy Philosophy: Lift Without Looking Overdone
Many patients are afraid of looking artificial. They do not want people to say, “What did you have done?” They want people to say, “You look fresh”, “You look rested”, “You look better” and “You still look like yourself.”
That is the center of our approach. Dr. Abdurrahman Efem focuses on natural-result medical aesthetics. With Ultherapy, the aim is not to create an exaggerated or pulled appearance. The aim is to improve support, definition and firmness while respecting the patient’s natural facial structure.
The best lifting result is not the most obvious one.
The best result is the one that fits your face.

How Is Ultherapy Performed?
1. Consultation and Facial Evaluation
Before treatment, your face and neck structure are evaluated. We look at jawline definition, degree of sagging, neck laxity, skin thickness, facial anatomy, fat distribution, previous procedures, medical history and expected result.
2. Treatment Planning
The treatment areas are selected according to your needs. Common areas include the lower face, jawline, neck, under the chin, cheeks and brow area in selected patients. The plan depends on the depth of support needed and the patient’s anatomy.
3. Ultrasound Energy Application
Focused ultrasound energy is delivered to targeted tissue layers. The goal is to stimulate collagen production and improve support gradually. Correct depth selection is important for both safety and results.
4. Return to Daily Life
Ultherapy usually has minimal visible downtime. Most patients return to daily life shortly after the session.
Does Ultherapy Hurt?
Ultherapy can create a sensation during treatment, but many patients tolerate it well.
Patients often describe the feeling as electrical tickling, warm pulses, deep tingling, short energy sensations or mild discomfort in some areas.
Compared with treatments like Morpheus8, Ultherapy is often perceived as more tolerable by many patients. However, sensitivity varies from person to person.
We do not describe Ultherapy as completely sensation-free. Honest expectation is part of a safe and professional treatment experience.
Ultherapy Recovery and Downtime
One of the advantages of Ultherapy is that it usually requires little to no visible downtime.
- Mild redness
- Tenderness
- Slight swelling
- Sensitivity to touch
- Temporary tingling
- Mild soreness in treated areas
Same day: mild redness or sensitivity may occur
First few days: tenderness may be felt in treated areas
Following weeks: collagen stimulation continues gradually
2–3 months: lifting and tightening become more visible
Because there are no incisions and no needles, social downtime is generally limited.
When Will I See Ultherapy Results?
Ultherapy results develop gradually. This is not an instant lifting procedure. The body needs time to produce new collagen and improve tissue support.
First few weeks: subtle firmness may begin
4–8 weeks: collagen activity increases
2–3 months: lifting and tightening become more visible
3–6 months: results may continue to improve in suitable patients
This gradual timeline is one reason Ultherapy results can look natural. The face does not suddenly look changed overnight. It becomes progressively firmer and more supported.
How Many Ultherapy Sessions Are Needed?
Many patients have one Ultherapy session as an initial treatment. However, this depends on age, skin quality, degree of laxity, treatment area, facial structure, expected result and whether other treatments are combined.
Some patients may benefit from maintenance treatments over time. Some patients may need a combined protocol instead of relying on Ultherapy alone.
The correct plan should be decided after evaluation, not by a standard package.
Ultherapy for Jawline Definition
Ultherapy can be useful when the jawline begins to look softer due to mild laxity and reduced tissue support.
It may help improve jawline clarity, lower face support, early jowling, neck transition and overall facial definition.
However, if the jawline is blurred mainly because of fat accumulation, Endolift may be more appropriate. If the skin surface is also loose, rough or thin, Morpheus8 may be added for skin quality improvement.
Ultherapy for Neck Tightening
The neck is one of the areas where early aging becomes visible.
Ultherapy may help patients with mild neck laxity, loose skin appearance, softening under the chin, reduced neck definition and early signs of aging.
It is not a replacement for surgical neck lift in advanced cases. For selected patients, Ultherapy can be part of a non-surgical face and neck lifting plan.
Ultherapy, Morpheus8 and Endolift: How They Work Together
For selected patients, the strongest non-surgical rejuvenation results come from choosing the right treatment for the right layer.
Ultherapy
Best for deeper support, facial lifting, jawline and neck laxity, collagen stimulation in deeper layers and structural improvement.
Morpheus8
Best for skin quality, texture, pores, acne scars, fine lines and skin firmness.
Endolift
Best for localized fat pockets, lower face contouring, double chin, jawline refinement and tissue tightening.
Together, these treatments may create a more complete non-surgical face and neck rejuvenation plan. This does not mean every patient needs all three.
Premium aesthetics is not about doing more. It is about doing what is necessary and avoiding what is unnecessary.
Safety: Why Experience Matters in Ultherapy
Ultherapy is a medical aesthetic procedure. It should be planned carefully.
Incorrect patient selection or poor technique may lead to weak results, unnecessary discomfort, uneven improvement, patient dissatisfaction and incorrect expectation management.
At Efem Clinic, we focus on FDA-cleared and CE-marked technologies where applicable, medical-grade treatment standards, anatomy-based planning, natural-looking outcomes, careful energy delivery and safety-first treatment design.
The device is important. But the treatment plan and practitioner experience are even more important.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Ultherapy suitable for everyone?
No. Ultherapy is not suitable for every patient. It works best for mild to moderate laxity and early loss of facial support. Advanced sagging may require surgical options.
Is Ultherapy painful?
Ultherapy may create electrical, tingling or warm pulse sensations during treatment. Many patients tolerate it well, but sensitivity varies depending on the area and the person.
Is there downtime after Ultherapy?
Visible downtime is usually minimal. Some patients may experience mild redness, tenderness, swelling or sensitivity for a short period.
When will I see results?
Ultherapy results develop gradually. Many patients notice improvement between 2 and 3 months, with collagen remodeling continuing over time.
How many sessions do I need?
Many patients start with one session, but the correct plan depends on facial structure, laxity, age, skin quality and expectations.
Does Ultherapy replace a facelift?
No. Ultherapy does not replace surgical facelift in advanced sagging. It is a non-surgical option for selected patients with mild to moderate laxity.
Is Ultherapy better than Morpheus8?
They are different treatments. Ultherapy focuses more on deeper lifting and support. Morpheus8 focuses more on skin quality, texture, pores and acne scars.
Can Ultherapy reduce double chin?
Ultherapy may improve support and tightening under the chin, but if fat accumulation is the main issue, Endolift may be more suitable.
Can Ultherapy be combined with Morpheus8 or Endolift?
Yes. In selected patients, Ultherapy can be combined with Morpheus8 or Endolift as part of a layered non-surgical rejuvenation plan.
Will I look artificial?
The aim at Efem Clinic is natural rejuvenation. Patients should look fresher, more lifted and more rested, not over-treated.
Is Ultherapy safe?
When performed with correct patient selection, proper planning and medical expertise, Ultherapy can be a safe and effective non-surgical lifting treatment. Suitability and risks should be discussed during consultation.
Doctor’s Note
Not every face needs the same lifting plan. Some patients need deeper support. Some need skin quality improvement. Some need contouring around the jawline or under the chin. Some need a careful combination.
The important question is not “Which device is popular?” The important question is “Which layer of the face needs treatment?”
At Efem Clinic, our focus is natural, refined and safe rejuvenation. The best result is when people say, “You look rested and fresh,” not “You had something done.”
