On Natural Beauty

After many years in aesthetic medicine, there is one thing I have come to realize:

People are not truly searching for perfection.

They want to look well rested. They want to look healthy. They want to look in the mirror and still recognize themselves.

During consultations, I sometimes ask my patients a simple question:

“Is the feature you want to change truly bothering you, or has it simply become something you notice because you have been focusing on it for too long?”

There is a significant difference between the two.

To me, natural beauty is not a trend. It is a matter of balance. What makes a face attractive, memorable, and full of character is rarely perfect symmetry. More often, it is the subtle asymmetries and unique details that make a person truly beautiful.

For this reason, my goal has never been to change a face. My goal is to reveal and enhance the beauty that is already there.

One of the comments I have heard most often throughout my career:

“Nobody could tell I had anything done. They just said I looked great.”

To me, that is exactly what a successful result should feel like.

Aesthetic medicine is often misunderstood. More filler, more procedures, or more dramatic changes do not necessarily create better outcomes. In many cases, the opposite is true.

Knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing what to do.

A philosophy we embrace in our clinic

Less is more.

Sometimes, doing less creates the most beautiful result.

Looking beautiful is valuable. But continuing to look like yourself is even more valuable.
